Axon, LVT Partnership Yields Solution for First Responders
Two public safety tech companies have entered a partnership that will integrate a customizable mobile security solution with real-time crime center (RTCC) technology, resulting in enhanced situational awareness for first responders.
LiveView Technologies (LVT) specializes in mobile security solutions that are used for bridging gaps in security camera coverage — hard-to-monitor areas such as parking lots and work sites — to provide increased visibility and safety through footage powered by an AI platform.
Axon provides first responders with technology like body cameras and Tasers, as well as its new product Fusus, which the company acquired in February to help boost the company’s real-time crime center solutions with situational awareness capabilities.
The combination of LVT’s mobile, solar-powered security units with the Fusus real-time operations platform will allow businesses, retailers and law enforcement agencies to collaborate on monitoring potential threats as well as responding with optimal situational awareness.
“LVT retail, property management and industrial customers have found great success in working with law enforcement to stop crime at its source, regaining a sense of safety in the community,” Mark Cranney, LVT chief revenue officer, said in a statement.
“We forged our partnership with Axon to empower enterprises and law enforcement with best-in-class solutions that streamline resources for maximum impact, which we anticipate will drastically reduce crime across the nation,” Cranney said.
The RTCC platform will integrate with the LVT AI platform for security intelligence and coverage and proactively identify potential incidents, execute deterrence strategies and shorten the response time of law enforcement.
