Cinnamon is yet another spice most of us use and love due to the exquisite flavor we find it adds to our food.

Cinnamon leaf, often called Chinese cinnamon, has a rich brownish-orange peel and can be used more often than not in anything you cook. Thanks to its tasty impact on your cooking, all spices add depth of flavor that makes whatever recipe you’re preparing taste great if cooked near enough.

Cinnamon can easily be sprinkled on your cereal, toast, teas and other foods.

Cinnamon has many healing benefits, including:

  • It is a potent anti-inflammatory.

In common parlance, “Curcuma longa,” turmeric has a yellow zygomorphic root and contains approximately 95% volatile oil.

Used as an anti-inflammatory and ease pain. When used, be sure to add a little pinch in black pepper. Turmeric contains a compound called curcumin which is poorly absorbed by the body on its own. The black pepper also contains an alkaloid known as piperine which can significantly boost its absorption and allow the body to use it more efficiently.
